We are looking for an experienced Doggy Daycare Attendant & Salon All-Rounder to join our team at Baark. Baark is a high-end dog grooming, goodies boutique & daycare in Prahran. Our priority is to provide a high-quality services and a comfortable experience for our clients, whilst working in a state of the art facility and within a fun and dynamic team environment.

What We’re Looking For:

• This is a hands-on, varied role suited to someone who genuinely loves being around dogs and doesn't mind rolling up their sleeves. You'll be a key part of daily operations, including:

  • Opening or closing the space (setup, security, end-of-day checks)

  • General cleaning - grooming areas, daycare spaces, laundry, bins, and keeping the salon presentable throughout the day

  • Supervising dogs in our daycare, managing play groups and monitoring dog body language/behaviour

  • Greeting clients, basic front-of-house duties, and helping with drop-off/pick-up

  • Keeping the environment clean and in good condition

  • Creating end-of-day report cards

Must Possess:

• Extensive canine behavioural knowledge

• Comfort in handling multiple dogs with multiple temperaments

• Initiative to create stimulating activities and initiate rest-time

• 2+ years previous professional animal care experience is preferred

• Reliability, punctuality and be willing to step into different roles

• Some social media prowess wouldn’t go amiss!
